 The following is a basic
contract between Wiseachers Miniature Australian Shepherds (Breeder)
and our Buyers. Some situations my require the amendment of
this contract, however the basics will remain the same. This
contract specifies the agreements between the breeder and buyer
including warranties and health
guarantees.
By signing this contract,
the breeder has sold to the buyer the following
puppy;

SELLERS WARRANTY TO
BUYER
Seller warrants that
the above described puppy has been examined by a licensed
veterinarian within 72 hours prior to delivery of the puppy, and was
found free of any health problems. In addition, if the puppy
is 8 weeks or older, the required shots and worming have been done
by said veterinarian. Seller warrants that the puppy is free
of any health problems for a period of 72 hours after
purchase.
This puppy is bred as a
companion animal. Although the above described puppy may be
capable of excellence in the show ring, no warranty is provided by
the seller as to its fitness for any specific
purpose.
Seller guarantees the puppy
against any inheritable/genetic defects for a period of 24
months. Should a licensed veterinarian determine that such
genetic defects are present within that 24 month period, buyer
may return the puppy to the seller for a replacement puppy out of
the next available litter. Buyer agrees to neuter or spay said
dog if they decide to keep it, sending a copy of the neuter/spay
certificate from the veterinarian to the seller. Should buyer
decide to return the dog, seller has the right to have an
independent veterinarian provide a second opinion on the
diagnosis. At no time is seller responsible for any veterinary
bills after the dog is purchased.
BUYERS
WARRANTY TO SELLER
Buyer agrees to have the puppy examined by their own
veterinarian within 72 hours of delivery of the puppy, and to inform
the seller immediately of any health problems that may be
detected.
Transportation of the puppy for delivery, or due to health
problems is the responsibility and expense of the
buyer.
Should the buyer decide for any reason that they cannot keep
the puppy, the seller has first right of refusal. Seller also agrees to help the buyer find a new
home for the puppy through our web page and other contacts.
Seller will not charge commission or require any fee for this
service.
Buyer agrees that under no circumstances will they ever place
the puppy in an animal shelter or research facility.
Payment is due in full at the time the puppy is
delivered. Payment must be in the form of cash or money order,
or paid direct to www.paypal.com.
SPAY /
NEUTER AGREEMENT
Buyer agrees to spay or neuter the puppy, at which time the
registration papers for the puppy will be forwarded to the
buyer. Evidence of spay/neuter must be provided by a licensed
veterinarian. Special arrangements can be made with
seller to purchase a puppy for
breeding.
